Sam Evans obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services from Mercer University in Atlanta. His Master of Education degree is in Rehabilitation Counseling from The University of Georgia in Athens. His Specialist in Education degree is in Adult Education and also from UGA. Mr. Evans has received further training in the Person-Centered Approach from Jerold D. Bozarth, Phd., LPC, LMFT, Internationally Recognized Expert.

Sam's background involves 2 decaded of professional experience as a counselor working with individuals, couples, families, and children. He has served men and women from diverse backgrounds, races, and ethnicities, as well as various specific populations. While he specializes in Anger Management, his experience includes providing therapeutic counseling and assessment services to people with disabilities. Sam Evans has served as a Behavior Specialist to inmate populations as well as the general public.

Additionally, he has provided individual, couples and family therapy for people who are diagnosed with addictions. His experience also includes oversight of a Georgia Department of Human Resources Registered Treatment Program, as well as supervision of staff providing psychosocial support and group therapy as executive director. Currently, Mr. Evans maintains a practices in Athens and Loganville, Georgia.
